EQD Calculator 2.3.0

In the practice of radiotherapy, do you often need to easily check the Biologically Effective Dose (BED) and Equivalent Dose (EQD)? It can be extremely helpful to be able to calculate these values on your iPhone, iPod, or iPad, devices you typically carry with you at all times. This is where the new app "EQD Calculator" comes in. The primary focus of this app's design is ease of use and speed in obtaining results. Given the practical utility of EQD over BED in clinical scenarios, we have aptly named this app "EQD Calculator." We invite you to try it out!

Main Features

• Calculates BED as per the Linear-Quadratic (LQ) model and concurrently computes EQD for fraction dose indication.
• Estimates the equivalent fraction dose when adjusting radiotherapy schedules to minimize treatment disruptions.
• Calculates these values under three different conditions based on fraction dose or total dose, number of fractions, and alpha/beta ratio, with automatic summation.
• Based on whether a total dose or fraction dose is set, calculates the related fraction/total dose accordingly depending on the number of fractions.
• This app is designed for iPhone and iPad running iOS 8 or later (version 1.2.0 onwards).
